When normal people read until here – well, at least, normal people that adheres to my beliefs – they tend to feel a little weird, strange, and apprehensive about reading the manga or watching the anime. And so Tsuna (unwillingly) embarks on a journey to find his own family members, and take over as the the Tenth Vongola Head. One day he is visited by a baby called Reborn, who claims to be the world’s greatest hitman and also the tutor to whip him into a suitable candidate for being the Tenth Boss of the Vongola Family – the largest, most powerful mafia family in the world. Reborn tells the story of fourteen-year-old Sawada Tsunayoshi, who is a failure at everything from sports to academics. True, it’s ridiculously long and when I first read the plot synopsis I wasn’t all that big either, but there’s a reason for everything, and Reborn definitely has the right to stand at the top of the manga world and dominate it completely. Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!, which I shall nickname ‘ Reborn‘, isn’t one of the most popular manga for nothing.
